Carnival of Souls is my favorite movie from the list. As for surprise twists, I'd have to say Sleepaway Camp.

The original Sleepaway Camp easily for me -not a very good movie really until that wacked out ending!

The Trick 'r Treat one was the biggest surprise. The ending to Sleepaway Camp was spoiled for me before I first saw it, but it's still very effective.

Not my favorite movie on the list but I agree that SLEEPAWAY CAMP deserves some recognition for the sheer WTFness of it all.

I never suspected that Angela had the body of Frankenstein from "Frankenstein and the Monster From Hell". Not to mention that massive schlong.

Sleepaway Camp for sure. I remember watching this as a kid with my sisters and we were like "WTF"? Never saw it coming..my sister had to rewind the tape because she couldn't believe what we just saw.

Gotta go with Sleepaway Camp. Saw it in elementary school and was definitely scarred for life :)

I guessed what Laurie & co. were in Trick 'r Treat thanks to some foreshadowing dialog. "She was always the runt of the litter," and such.

I knew going into Carnival of Souls that the woman was dead. The Others was easy to guess, coming on the heels of The Sixth Sense.

Orphan had me going in a different direction for a while. When they started investigating the Russian orphanage / institution, I thought Esther was going to be some kind of genetically-engineered super-child.

It was a "shlong" time ago, but I'm pretty sure I figured out that good ol' Angela was a dude. Still, that doesn't prepare one for the full-frontal hiss of defiance Sleepaway Camp ends on, 'cuz what possibly could?
    :fucked:

Ever guess a twist based solely on a trailer? I did for Captivity, and reading reviews later, found out I was right (I never had any interest in seeing the flick).
