Prom Night, Terror Train and many Friday the 13th's (particularly Part 2) have really good ones. The Prowler and Hell Night are among the best as well.

THE PROWLER and PROM NIGHT both feature good chase scenes. It's partially in slow motion(if that counts) but the ice skating chase in CURTAINS is memorable.

    I will say Terror Train.....and.....uh...

    Oh! Hell Night....yeah! Love that.

Love the chase scene in Halloween II as well

I have to say that the Chase scene with Linnea Quigley in Graduation Day I loved because it was so cheesy...

Ah, the chase scene... As much a staple of the genre as the P.O.V. shot, the gratuitous boob shot, or gore.

Halloween II is basically one long chase scene, and it's a very good one at that.

Prom Night also has an excellent chase scene, and it's quite unusual that it doesn't give it to the final girl.

The Prowler also mounts quite a bit of suspense with its final chase, but the final girl gets a taste of things to come early in the film when she encounters the prowler for the first time.

The chase in Halloween is a classic. Halloween is justifiably famous for those final 20 minutes or so, from the point when Michael's mask fades into view behind Laurie.

Friday the 13th: Part 2 may have a better final chase, but the one in Friday the 13th: Part 3 is reason enough to watch it - when Jason makes his entrance through the broken window, the movie drops campy delights in favor of real suspense as Jason repeatedly corners Chris, who puts up one heck of a fight.

Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III complements its chases on foot with a minor but thrilling car chase.

    I love chase scenes! :)

As much as I don't think they really followed the style of part 1 (they were going for a more '80s slasher vibe) I still really love Halloween II. The chase scenes in the hospital are great. They amount to quite a bit of suspense.

The scene in Silent Night, Deadly Night II where Ricky essentially whittles the suburban population to ZERO. Ok, so it's not really a chase scene but I'm still voting for it.

    Completely agreed.

But my #1 favorite slasher movie chase scene, of all-time, has always been and will always be Friday the 13th Part III.

I also think the chase scene beginning in the bedroom that leads to Sidney at the front door from Scream is incredible.

My favorite chase scene is from Prom Night (1980), when he runs after Wendy throughout the hallways of the high school. This was classic.

My second favorite is the chase in I Know What You Did Last Summer when Sarah Michelle Gellar is stalked and chased into the family store and than back outside.

The one where the principal chases the Breakfast Club throughout the hallways of the school, yeah, that one was brutal.
