my fave foot chase would have to be in paolo cavaras black belly of the tarantula. the cop giancarlo giannini chases a suspect across a rooftop and the camerawork is both exciting and terrifying. whats yur fave foot chase?

I read the title of this thread and that was exactly the scene I thought of.Great stuff.

Another one that needs mentioning is the Franco Nero chase from Streetlaw. Not a Giallo and perhaps considered a car chase technically,it's still great :).

Not really a giallo, but set in Europe, Scorpio (1972) features a great foot chase at a construction site.

Not a Giallo but the sequence in Body Double when he's following the girl and the Indian. DePalma knows this technique very well.

Did anybody else think that the wide angle compositions used by the photographer Marcello Gatti in Black Belly of the Tarnatula were similar to those used by Vittorio Storaro in both Bird With The Crystal Plumage and The Fifth Cord?
