Tough one! Lots of great villains/monsters listed ... voted for Pinhead because he's still the coolest villain around :)

I voted for Jason. Not Kane Hodder though. I like the Jason's from parts 1 and 6 the best.

I'm a Godzilla freak myself so that is where my vote went.

The more I think about it, Jason from part 2 also did a fine job.

Some great monsters and villains there for sure. But since I was a wee lad, it's always been Godzilla.

I went with Jason, especially Kane Hodder's Jason, although I have much love for all the Jason variants from the Friday the 13th movies proper. In other words, Freddy vs. Jason Jason is not included in the love.

Tough call between Pinhead and the Tall Man, but in the end I went with other for the Phantasm fiend.

Freddy Kruger for me all the way. I did think of Jason but Fred has more of a personality.

Have to go other on this one. Godzilla is a fine choice. But Pinhead edges the big G out for me for the listed folk, Godzilla was never consistently "villainous" enough.

But three come to mind that need listing, and aren't. Hannibal Lector is an obvious one, though not one I'd pick. My second choice, and a close second at that, Herbert West. And my first choice, the Tall Man. Jeffrey Combs might get left out since you could consider his character to not actually be a villain. But how you could leave out Angus Scrimm - just criminal.

How could I forget The Tall Man? Forget Phibes, I vote other for the Scrimm!

Well, being limited to only 20 in a poll, that is how I could "forget" a particular favorite. Thus, other comes into play.
