Yeah, HIGH TENSION, no contest. BIO ZOMBIE is hilarious, though.

I've decided not to consider Pan's Labyrinth as a horror movie. Otherwise making the decision is just too hard. I ended up voting for Dark Water because well, it wrecked me when I watched it.

    My Top 5:

    1. Dark Water
    2. Devil's Backbone
    3. A Tale Of Two Sisters
    4. The Eye
    5. Irreversible

So many great movies on the list though...

KAIRO for sure. Not only one of my favorite of the last 10 years, but one of my favorites of all time. I really believe it to be one of the most frightening films ever made (at least for me). And it's a rare film where its level of fright and dread is matched by the sheer beauty and intelligence of it. Kiyoshi Kurosawa is the man.

High Tension and Dark Water are very close behind though. Same with Pan's Labyrinth, though I don't really think it's a horror film. I also love Audition, Ju-On, and Ringu 1 & 2.

But really, almost every movie on this list is great.

Uzumaki. I absolutely adore it. With Ichi the Killer coming in close behind it.
