A lot of Horror films have a lot of great locations....

One of my personal favouites is the Overlook Hotel in Kubrick's The Shining, I just love the feeling of isolation a big empty hotel can create...

Another is the Bates Motel and Bates House from the Psycho films, classic

    What are your favourites....?

I just love old Camp Crystal Lake cause in reality it was known as Camp NoBeBoSco which is short for Camp North Bergen Boy Scouts which my dad went to back in the 50's.

A couple of years ago, I was traveling through California and managed to see all of these locations in one day:

    Doyle/Wallace houses from Halloween
The Elm Street house (just a few blocks away from the Halloween houses)
    Poltergeist house
Stevie Wayne's house, the town square and the lighthouse from The Fog

Of these, I'd have to say the Poltergeist house is my favorite, because that movie had such an impression on me as a kid and the house and property still look almost exactly as they did in the film. I was surprised at how narrow the street is, though. The way the film was shot gives the impression to the viewer that the street is much wider than it actually is. The drive out to the lighthouse is long, but very scenic. I was on kind of a tight travel schedule, or I would've taken more time to see a few more Halloween locations.

The cemetary in Evans City, Pennsylvania where Romero shot the opening sequence to Night of the Living Dead. Been there several times, and it still creeps me out. Looks almost the same today as it did back then.

Great choice! I always thought the Dunsmuir House lent a perfectly creepy atmosphere to movies like Burnt Offerings and Phantasm.

I've been to Carlsbad Caverns. Didn't encounter any gargoyles, but did get to watch several hundred thousand bats do their nightly bat flight out of the caves. :)
