Chopping mall Ash vs evil dead - this only getting a dvd release in the UK, I will import the blu, but Fox have really dropped the ball on this, a massive fuck you to UK fans, I hope they respond according and import, and give a big fuck you to Fox for this sorry and pathetic release. Bad moon Absurd (88 Films), dropped money on the indigogo campaign, looking forward to the releaae
Wow, hadn't heard about this release. 9 to 5 is a favorite but I find Twilight Time releases to be a mixed bag. I hope they'll at least port over the extras from the special edition DVD.
I believe Fox is done releasing any TV series on blu-ray everywhere. I know they stopped Modern Family and The Simpsons in the U.S.
I'm. Really surprised at this. Not that it affects me, as I was going to import anyway (due to the fact that the four other Evil Dead movies I own are Region A; and I'd like them to match). Regardless. The Evil Dead movies have been big sellers since the release of the first movie on video back in the early 80's, so it would seem like a no brainer to release vs. Evil Dead on multiple formats. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if it'll be bare bones too!
Return of Godzilla Conjuring 2 Walking Dead Season 6 The Thing (Shout) Session 9 (Shout) Jeepers Creepers 1 & 2 (Shout) Bad Moon (Shout) The Green Room The Cat People (1942-Criterion) The Hills Have Eyes AND I can't believe nobody else mentioned this: The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane - HUGE Jodie Foster fan here.
I had no idea! i will def be getting that! the commentary on the scream factory disc was a snoozefest
"Little Girl Who Lives Down The Lane" has been out for a few weeks already so maybe that's why it hasn't been mentioned. Great release, though. I love the movie and am thrilled to upgrade my old DVD.
Very true. It's moderated on the Glass Doll Films release by Jason Andreasson and its great fun, with a lot of new info! Looks to have some great features and I like the alternate US art they are using too - although the original 1 sheet art I'd on the reverse. The commentary has already been released on the 101 Films UK BD... but that's about all it can offer. Lazy release, luckily I got a few copies for free as I run a Ghoulies site www.Ghouliesmovies.wordpress.com Looks to be a lavish booklet included with the Australia release too! They're supposed to be releasing Ghoulies 2 shortly too, but I think it's being delayed in order to put together a better disc! They're on the lookout for an R Rated version. Unfortunately it's not a easy as just inserting the deleted scenes from the Scream FACTORY disc. Fingers crossed.
If they can't find one, surely it's not that difficult to do, then have 2 versions on the disc, I have not brought a release yet as I'm waiting for it uncut, so I'm hoping for the very least, my suggestion plays out.
