I never considered "most prized" as "most valuable" to be honest. I prize things that arn't rare, they just mean a lot to me. If we're talking about higher priced things, I have Begotten, which is going for $125 I think.

Night Screams is one of the worse films I have ever seen. Why do people value it so much???? What makes it so rare??? :hum:

Actually I do have 2 signed discs: An Officer And A Gentleman signed by David Keith, and Wizard of Oz signed by the old guy who played the coroner.

You haven't seen many bad movies then. Watch some of the DTV films released these days, and it'll seem like a masterpiece.

thats creepy, I was going to say the same thing. Quite rare that dvd.

and my Deathstalker I , II, IV Barbarian Queen I & II
series are pretty cool. I have no idea why they went out of print so fast.

I agree with this. It really surprises me which titles are now expensive just because they're "OOP". One time I was at a used store, and some of the Anchor Bay movies that were in that super bargain bin at Suncoast are now very expensive titles. Like The Allnighter. I mean, sure it's got Susanna Hoffs in her underwear, but that ain't worth $30. Well, not on DVD at least.

I remember the first titles I bought on Laser (Pulp Fiction, Miller's Crossing) and on DVD (The Blair Witch Project, Hell Night), so those four movies have special sentimental value. Even though I've replaced both Pulp and Miller's with much better editions, I've held on to those discs solely because they were the first I ever bought.

Ah...I forgot Deathstalker. II alone is one of my most cherished items. If only I could get that disc signed!

Region 2 box set of all 8 Showa Gamera movies (now OOP), signed by director Noriaki Yuasa (who has since passed on).

I'm also working on the ultimate Godzilla collectible: Godzilla Final Box, with individual DVD cases signed by various peeps involved with the movies. I've got several sigs, and add to them every year at G-Fest. :D

Wait! I was recently given a Masters of Horror episode "We All Scream for Ice Cream" signed by Tom Holland. :D

Never watched it, and honestly not that interested in it. But it is signed.

Yep, The Midnight Hour is pretty rare now. I don't think I'll be selling mine any time soon though. :)

The Deathstalker and Barbarian Queen DVD's (and all the old New Horizons/New Concorde DVD's) pretty much went OOP after Roger Corman signed that deal with Disney to release his old/new films. It seems like a long time since they've re-released anything however...

Mine would have to be the Elite dvds of Re-Animator, Maniac and Night Of The Living Dead. Also, the Criterion dvd of The Killer. Those were the very first dvds I ever purchased. Every time I look at them it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. As far as $valuable, I'd have to say my dvd of Begotten, Mystery Science Theatre 3000 collection vol.10 (the one with Godzilla vs. Megalon), Torso, The Abominable Snowman (Hammer). I'm sure I have more but those are the ones that come to mind.

And Sword And The Sorcerer is out of print too. The only real "conan / fantasy type" movies around are the Conan series & Beastmaster

I'm waiting for The Barbarians. That hanging scene of the twins is worth the dvd alone. I love those type of films. All those movies that I have in my collection either on dvd or vhs are some of my favs.

mmmmmmmmm Not a DVD or Video.

When net Auctions were just starting i picked up a Linen backed Vaudeville poster (1 Sheet) , of the Hilton Sisters (Siamese Twins from Freaks) dated around 1920-24 odd, for nix.

    Looks simply sensational.

Irreversible is the one I am scared to loan out making it one of my faves but the most prized DVD's I own are Re-Penetrator and The XXXorcist , both wich are signed by Joanna Angel.
