I finally got my two most wanted last year, Sole Survivor and The Sender.
Still awaiting ...
Berserker: The Nordic Curse
New Year's Evil
Naked Vengeance: Unrated
The Naked Cage
The UK DVD is fairly good in quality...
A couple I had been keenly awaiting have shown up in recent years (the Amicus TALES FROM THE CRYPT,THE SKULL and the 80's slasher EYES OF A STRANGER) but more lurk in the shadows.I had heard that THE NESTING was slated for a release but there hasn't been an update for a while.80's slashers like CURTAINS and NEW YEARS EVIL have yet to get solid releases,SILENT SCREAM is supposed to be streeting this year.Euro pics like THE SECRET OF SEAGULL ISLAND and STRANGE SHADOWS IN AN EMPTY ROOM would be welcome.
I didn't know there was a UK release. Thanks for the headsup
Yep, at least two or more UK DVD releases with different coverart actually. The one which I own came out back in 2004, released by Hollywood DVD. There was an older one from Moonstone that came out back in 2001. I have no idea how the quality varies between the releases, but they're all fullscreen.
I saw RAD in the theater - the slo-mo sequence at the dance is ridiculous and great.
back on topic:
Night of the Creeps
Massacre at Central High (a real DVD, mind you, not a crap one)
Dark Angel: The Ascent
Blood and Lace
Deadly Blessing (R1)
The Town that Dreaded Sundown
And, of course, I am looking forward to Code Red releasing:
Butcher, Baker, Nightmare Maker
Massacre at Central High (this is probably my most anticipated one)
The Town that Dreaded Sundown
...and that's pretty much it.
All Phantasms and Stepfathers are on DVD, as is "Galaxy of Terror".
Blood and Lace.Jennifer,Cannibal Girls,The Zoo Gang,TAG The Assassination Game,Green Slime,Navy Vs. The NIght Monsters,Force Five,I Saw What You Did(80s version),Voyage Into Space,Breaking Glass,Drive In(76).
Hamburger: The Motion Picture
To All A Goodnight
New Years Evil
Screams of A Winter Night
I'm a noob as you can see so pardon me if this has been covered but...
we used to have an HD channel called Monsters HD. Incredible Melting Man, The Boogens and The Video Dead were all shown within the last year. Unfortunately the channel was discontinued.
...But great call on Killdozer! And in the spirit of '70s TV movies let me add The Horror at 37,000 Feet with William Shatner and Satan's Triangle with Kim Novak.
Just remembered The Spell as well. Good lord they just keep coming...
Abby (never an official release, bootlegs are awful)
The Boy Who Cried Werewolf
Tales That Witness Madness
Alien Zone (a.k.a. House of the Dead)
This House Possessed
Enter the Ninja
Ninja III: The Domination
Don't Be Afraid of the Dark
The Legend of Billie Jean
There are so many i want to see the light of day, anyway here is my short list:
Don't be afraid of the dark
Happy birthday to me(untampered version)lol!
The Children(respectable print unlike Troma's damaged, edited ,full screen, bullshit print)
Halloween 2(Notice! this movie has never had a respectable,Extras filled release why it is
a direct continuation of John Carpenter's film unbelieveable)
The Fifth floor
Hider in the house(Bad Ronald rip with Gary Busey a straight to video flick from the mom
and pop shop hey day)
I dismember mama
Candle for the devil
Too scared to scream
Dying room only
He knows you're alone
Daddy's deadly darling
Hide and go shriek
Home for the hoilidays
Massacre at central high
Dark room (series)
Are you in the house alone
No place to hide
A stranger is watching
Kill or be killed
Kill and kill again
Alice sweet Alice
Great choice! Darkroom was a creepy cool show with James Coburn that was too short lived.
All what's been said + CHATTERBOX. And if it already HAS been said and I've overlooked it then I'm sorry. This thread is already too long as it is.
(I don't really care if CHATTERBOX is released, but it seems like a crime somehow to not be able to buy a copy of a film about a talking vagina.)
OMG - Still SO many:
Galaxy of Terror
Don't Go to Sleep
New Year's Evil
Murder By Phone
The Visitor (1980)
The Island (1980)
Who Killed Teddy Bear
I know Code Red owns some but not sure if they will ever put them out because of today's economy.
Agree wholeheartedly with all the titles on this thread. I'd also add some older ones, as follows:
The Reincarnation of Peter Proud (1975)
No Blade of Grass (1970)
Halfway House (1948)
The Uninvited (1944)
Between Two Worlds (1944)
The Monster and the Girl (1942)
Dante's Inferno (1935)
The Tunnel (1935)
Murders in the Zoo (1933)
Island of Lost Souls (1931)
Outward Bound (1930)
It's scandalous that these have never seen the light of day in digital format.
