I thinking of getting these films. But are they worth it?

    Castle of Blood
    My Dear Killer - Giallo
What Have You Done To Solange?
All The Colors Of The Dark

Give your ideas and opinions on these interesting titles.

Castle of Blood - been too long for me to fairly comment.

My Dead Killer - do you mean "My Dear Killer", the giallo? If so, I watched this for the first time just the other night. I'd heard it was a so-so film, but actually, I very much enjoyed it. It's more of a mystery than a gory giallo, but it worked quite well. The first killing is classic. Because I shouldn't order when I'm drunk, I think I have a spare sealed copy of this around. Don't know if we could trade or something.

What Have You Done To Solange? - Superb giallo. Nice release from SS too. I have the old R2 EC disc as well, but really, it doesn't match the SS release. Definate buy.

All The Colors Of The Dark - man, that's an odd film. Truly wonderful though, no doubt. Not a giallo as such, but no worse for it. Definate buy.

The only one I've seen from that list is What Have You Done To Solange?, but it's a superb giallo. If you're a fan of the genre I suggest you check it out immediately.

EDIT: I didn't copy dwatts' "superb giallo" comment, btw... I didn't even see his post when I wrote mine. :D

Those are the two I've seen of your list, and I really enjoyed them both. I especially enjoyed the soundtrack of the latter. :D

Solange is all I've seen. I remember it being a little better than the average giallo but still forgetable. The music is the only thing that's standing out in my mind right now.

I highly recommend What Have You Done To Solange? And All The Colors Of The Dark. I haven't seen the other two but am interested in purchasing Castle of blood. As for My Dear Killer, I've seen the trailer and it's hard to say...would like to know more about that one myself.

Castle of Blood (Have not seen it...)
My Dead Killer - Giallo (Very good, and a little bit of Agatha Christie feeling over it)
What Have You Done To Solange? (Some say it´s a masterpiece, i say it´s pretty boring)
All The Colors Of The Dark (Not the best Martino gialli around, but it´s over average)

Solange is the only one I've seen and I loved it. In fact, I'm gonna jump right on to the 'superb giallo' bandwagon!

What I usually normally do is Google the title of a film I'm interested in.
Reading reviews has helped me to make up my mind most of the time.
After that, when I have decided which movie to buy,I look for the best print around.
If you look here for instance:
    http://www.dvdbeaver.com/film/dvdcompare/solange.htm
    Makes it easier to choose....
This one has made me not buy the Shriek Show version yet (I have the Marketing disc):
    http://whiggles.landofwhimsy.com/misc-dvdimage-colors.html
If I buy it it would be solely for the extras.Perhaps NoShame will include it in their Sergio Martino Collection one day.

Anyway that's basically how I do it...

Edit:And a thread search on this forum ofcourse...:D;)

My Dear killer is great film but it plays out very slow and it has a cool murder scene, and the only reason i bought it was because it was on crystal plumage's list i figured it would be a great movie

What Have You Done To Solange? what have you done to solange is great too and it also has a awesome soundtrack

all the colors of the dark- is the best movie out of these three giallo movies you want to order , i agree with the others

I have yet to watch my dvd of All The Colors Of The Dark but What Have You Done To Solange? is wonderful. The music in it is so beautiful, in fact it makes me want to listen to it right now.

    I take that as a compliment!*blushes*
Tonino Valerii's cinematography is great here.
It made me interested again in his other wellknown movie:My Name Is Nobody.
The movie itself is a very clever "whodunnit" and has actually a couple of cool killings. But it's best remembered for
    the decapitation in the beginning.
I'll have to rewatch it very soon!

Do you think that there will be another version of Solange, or do you think this will be the only one.

Castle of Blood is just okay. Great atmosphere, etc., etc., but kind of boring (sorry).

Solange is awesome. A superb giallo. ;-) Also has some hot girls in it, although they're a bit on the young side.
