Yikes. I think I'd prefer to be attacked by zombeavers over watching the movie.
Was anyone else expecting a porn parody of horror when they clicked on the thread title?
This looks funny as hell, is it coming to blu-ray or the theater lol?
No. I was thinking that beavers were the last possible living creature that someone hasn't used in a shitty zombie movie. Many people love this kind of stuff, and that's fine, but I would love it if zombie movies went away for a long time. This movie probably had a larger budget than any Romero film.
that looks fun to me, I'm in.
I'm with you, and will see this one way or another. Looked to have some elements of Shark Pool in it too, brilliant! Even funnier to show these trailers to your non-horror friends back to back and have them guess which one is really a movie!:lol::lol::lol:
In case you missed it, Shark Pool:
LMAO! Just don't go in the pool this looks funny as well, and thanks for that, I did miss it.
I'm sure the characters will be annoying as ever in this, but I agree this looks pretty fun!
It used to be one of my favorite genres, but I´ve been burned by so many REALLY fucking bad Zombie movies over the last 10 years, that I don´t care if I ever see another one as long as I live...
These days everything is Zombie this and Zombie that.
Doesn´t seem like the fad is going away anytime soon either.
Just leave the damn Zombie genre buried for at least 10-15 years.
I don´t know... Zombeavers just looks like it tries way too hard to be funny.
Remember the days when horrormovies also had characters that was likable?
Now it´s all annoying douchbags and bitches
Damn, I sure have turned into old Mr. Grumpy, haven´t I
That's what really pisses me of now days. Old timers like Romero or Argento cannot even get the money spent on any shitty horror or spoof movie.
Good God, this makes that Squirrels movie look appealing.
Well ill be damned, that trailer actually has me interested to see this. Looks like it could be fun like the new Piranha movies.
Oh and is Shark Pool an actual film or a spoof trailer?
Unfortunately just a well done fake/spoof trailer.
I've been skipping all the SyFy crap like Sharknado (even though I use to watch that kinda shit all the time) but I'm oddly interested in seeing this. It's over the top in a good way. I think I'd watch a killer beaver movie if they were zombies or not.
I think everyone agrees Zombies are played out, unfortunately we still all want GOOD new zombie movies. The oddball zombie knick nack will still tickle our fancy. The occasionally well placed Romero reference will still garner a smirk.
Another part of it is that it use to be a zombie discussion was something only horror fans would have. It's was like a bolt from the blue to bump into someone and have an impromptu zombie reference. Now Walking Dead is brought up at the water cooler every week. So just about anyone and everyone can discuss zombies. It's lost that special feeling. Although when I start bringing up Romero specifics and other classics people still don't know what the hell I'm talking about, so horror fans still got that going for them I guess.
I like that it looks like they have a lot of actual (non-CG) stuffed beavers attacking. But the so-called "humor" seems of the PIRANHA 3DD brand of not-funny. I'll give it a shot at some point, I'm sure.
Well it's a great spoof trailer  Don't know if it could be dragged out into a feature film, that's why I was curious.
They're screening this here at the beginning of August. I might try to get tickets.
Could be a fun night.
I'll be seeing this two weeks from tonight. I got my ticket today.
