I'll be at the 5 Points in Jax! Anyone have a showing near you?

I'm pretty sure BU is using the new High Def Print from the upcoming Zombie Blu, so it will look great on the big screen. I got to see Evil Dead last year thanks to BU, and it was a really great experience. I loved all of the trailers and vintage drive in bits they played before the film.

It's playing in D.C. but I will just be coming back from a double bill of DEEP RED and PIECES in Raleigh and an 80's Fest in Durham, don't think I can get away again that soon.

It's coming to Toronto at the Revue Cinema on Oct 22nd. Can't wait to take my step-sis to this. I've been introducing her to Italian horror and so far, she's loving it. Haven't shown her anything this extreme though. Can't wait to see the look on her face lol.

it's playing in my city too, but I'm not sure if it's 35mm or not. This means a lot, as the theater it's playing in is not known for good digital projection. Plus, the film festival I work is gonna be going on at that time.

But if they wonder why I slip out midway through the Friday night party...

I'm so there. It'll be cool. I haven't seen this on the screen since 1983.

Wow I might check this out. It's a bit of a trek west of the downtown core but for Zombie...yeah I think so.

Yeah, this many theaters at once, it ain't 35mm prints. I kinda suspected, since the theater it's playing at always brags about "new 35mm print!" when that's what they're showing. This time they're bragging "new digital restoration!" with "35mm" conspicuously absent. I might go, but probably not.

OK, I'm ignorant on this subject. So does that mean it's just a projection of the Blu ray? I'm really not in the know about this technology.....
