Didn't see much talk about this movie here:

New movie called Zombieland will be releasing wide October 9th 2009 starring Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, Abigail Breslin, Amber Heard, Jesse Eisenberg ...

Here's the just released official trailer:

Imo it looks to be a blast. ... At least from the trailer, crossing fingers we have another fun Shaun of the Dead type hit.

    What do you guys think?

Um, did anyone else notice that the MPAA green banner at the beginning of the trailer says "Appropriate Audiences", not "General Audiences"...

Seems to me not only are they making the ratings boxes descriptors contain every ounce of subject-able material (which is just getting ridiculous), but they are also getting even nit-pickier with the banner 'audience' as well! Jeezus!

Back to the movie itself, that looks pretty hilarious! Count me as coloured pale green!

thanks for the new red band Trailer.

The ones I posted have been removed. I've found some new original(regular) ones to replace them. Until of course they get removed.

And the new trailer looks awesome. Just like I said in the original post. This could possibly be the next Shaun of the Dead type hit. I really think this could pull a few crossover viewers because of its humor content. This is what I love, something new & fun. Enough with the remakes.

Looks really funny, although I hope it can sustain itself. The girl from Superbad needs to be in more films, too. Will give this a chance.

Saw it last night & it was awesome! I haven't been to the movies in ages but I'm really happy to have gotten the chance to see this on the big screen. It's definitely up there with Shaun of the Dead as far as "zombie comedies" are concerned. I highly recommend this. It's got a lot of blood splatter, great makeup & effects, fantastic soundtrack, some cgi but it blends very well & even a surprise cameo. Woody was fantastic in this. His character was a riot. Good ole country boy with certain cravings. Jesse Eisenberg was pretty funny as well. I've never seen any of his other movies before but his character, looks & dialogue, kept reminding me of every character Michael Cera seems to play, that weenie soft spoken kid that mans up in the end. I don't want to talk a whole lot about it because I don't want to spoil it for the rest of you. I want to read your reactions as well. I predict that this will do pretty well in the theater but I think that this will have an even better run on home video which I will certainly be purchasing.

Can't wait to see this October 9th.

I just read an article where it said this "story" was on the shelf for a few years and that it was originally pitched as a TV show. Now that sounds like it would have been pretty cool. You never know, maybe someone will pick up that TV concept if the movie does well. It could be good for Showtime or HBO.
