Man, I can't wait for this fucking flick!!! Anybody else waitin for this too? It's Takashi Miike's remake of an old 70's yakuza flick by Fukasaku Kinji. It's getting good reviews. I see they are already taking pre orders for it at rapideyemovies.de Man oh man am I excited. I've said it once and I'll say it again. TAKASHI MIIKE IS THE ABSOLUTE BOMB DIGGIDY!!!! Easily one of the greatest of all time!!!

Miike's Graveyard Of Honour is one of the best films I saw last year. Remarkable acting by Goro Kishitani & Narimi Arimori, Miike himself even has a cameo early on as an assassin. It's fairly restrained - occaisional bloody stabbings and shootings but the primary focus of the film is the characters anyway.

Graveyard Of Honour is one of my favourite Yakuza films and I'll probably check the remake out though I doubt it'll be even half as good as the original.

Hey bods, do you know for sure it wont have english subs? All the releases I own of theirs all have english subs.

REM have said that it won't have english subs. Apparently Toei refused to let them put english subs on the disc.

I own a few of REM dvd's. I own PornoStar brought out by them but sadly that doesent feature subs either. Too bad its a great movie. But the film does feature german subs so I might be able to get my one friend who is german to translate it for me.
