Whats your favorite Mother Nature kicks ass flick? Mine is Jaws...the story of a misunderstood great white shark and it's desire to eat some swimmers.

Voted for Pirhana, cos I like black comedy, but Jaws is great too.

I voted for The Birds. Hitchcock knew what he was doing.

Runner-up: Jaws.

Worst: Mosquito! Ugh!

tremors was more of a monster than nature, IMHO. I totally forgot King Kong but Godzilla is on the borderline...thats why I didnt include it.

I had to go with The Birds!

Hitchcock was an incredible director. I have only seen a small number of his movies, but they have held up very well.

Jaws would be a close second, and I have to admit to loving Slugs! Cheesy, melodramatic, good gore... a movie to love! :D

I went with Cujo. It was one of the earliest horror flicks I saw, so it has the nostalgia going for it.

I'll give ya one guess which film I voted for. ;) I love it so much, and it is easily a five star classic in my book!

I love every other film on the list too, except ANACONDA and THE SWARM. MOSQUITO is fun as hell!

I voted for Jaws as my favorite.

The Birds is the one that disturbs me the most.

When I was a kid, there was a movie called Frogs on TV all the time, but I could never sit through. I would just get bored and do something else. I don't know if I would like it today. What are other's opinions on Frogs.

I picked Rattlers over the weekend and watched it the other day. That was pretty good. A lot better then I expected at any rate. I haven't watched the second feature yet, which is the Snake People.

I voted for Jaws, as it is the clear best. But it hurt me to not vote for Piranha as well.

Andy Warhol has called Frogs "The best bad movie I have ever seen in my life". It's pretty slow but has a good cast and some nice nature-photography. If you're a die-hard "when good amphibians go bad"-film buff, as myself, you might wanna give this another chance.

As for the voting, it's a tough call, there's too many "good/bad" movies on that list. :) I'd have to go with Jaws, after all it's pretty much the one that started the genre's popularity and growth the last thirty years.

C'mon, where is Willard? Don't let Hyde find out about this thread! :D

I voted for Jaws, with my next pick being the underrated Anaconda. Jon Voight's performance in it is down right classic. Cool thread!

I saw Frogs for the first time last summer on a hot and humide Saturday afternoon... it was the perfect atmosphere to watch that film. I loved it.

It's worth it just for the sleeping bag scene!

Jaws. Sharks are the only thing that scare the shit out of me and this flick would be my worst nightmare.
