BLOOD DINER on DVD from Dragon?

I read this was coming on the SexGoreMutants web site. Anybody else looking forward to this release? I haven't seen this film in years. I loved it back in the day! Everybody seemed to hate this movie.

I have not seen Blood Diner for years.

But when I saw it around 10 or so years ago, I thought that it was terrific! Funny as hell! This is something that would be great to have on DVD. :D

Man, A video store closed around here a few years ago (Pre-DVD), and this was one of the films I acquired for $5, along with many other cool horrors, some of which are not on dvd!! I had never seen it before, but really liked it a lot. As far as owning the dvd, I'll have to break it out and watch it again to see if it is worthy of a dvd purchase.

I think I rented this one a long time ago, but the tape was so warped that it wouldn't even play on my VCR, so I never got to see it.:cry: :banana:

I bought it for 2 bucks a few weeks ago. It wasn't as good as I remembered but hell it was still fun.

I absolutely love the film. It was one of the titles I was interested in licensing when I was going to start my own DVD label. Unfortunately, after months of going back and forth with Artisan I was told that they "don't license out their titles." (You'd think maybe they woulda said this at the beginning...) Producer Jimmy Maslon and director Jackie Kong really didn't want much to do with it either.

I still have my old VHS for this one. I wouldn't buy this on dvd unless it was real cheap. Fun movie but nothing to rave about.

Hmm, Xploited were supposed to get it in stock by May 15th, but now it's listed as "Delayed indefinitely". Is it only delayed, or cancelled?

Yeah, there's a Euro DVD release that's uncut. Not sure if it's still in print or not. I also have the OOP Region 1 DVD from Image. Even though it states that it's uncut, it is actually the cut version.

Any news on whether or not this DVd will be coming out any time soon? I hope it's still not postponed. I thought I would revive this thread. I've been wanting to see this again for a long time. it deserves a DVD release.
