Hi

Just bought this on ebay and I was wondering who can tell me what crosstalk is. Everytime a play a PAL Laserdisc, I can see wavey lines on screen especially the bright reds and browns. But every time a play a NTSC laserdisc the picture is fantastic without any problems.

All I use is a scart cable which is diectly pluged into my TV set. By the way I live in London.

Does the player support PAL output? Maybe it's trying to output the PAL disc as NTSC. It certainly sounds like that is the problem.

It supports both PAL and NTSC. Whenever I play a disc the player reads it as either PAL or NTSC.

Strange. Check the manual. Also, try posting a message to the alt.video.laserdisc newsgroup. There are some experts there that will no doubt have an answer.
