First the gave us Dog Soldiers, now the've given us 28 days later. Hail to the brits! :) Just saw this one at the movies tonight, what a delightful surprise. My advice, go fetch a ticket and enjoy the show.
I'll see it once it get's an R1 dvd release. I am very excited to see this though, but I doubt it will be released in theaters over here in the U.S.

DOG SOLDIERS got a bit too hyped, and when I eventually saw it I was a bit let down. On it's own I didn't even feel it was that great, but oh well.
And off-topic - but suspiria, your band rocks. What do you play?

Dog Soldiers has great dialogue along with great direction and great action IMHO....
Cheers for the positive feedback re my band :D i'm the one singing and playing rhythm guitar... although the MP3s available atm are pretty old.. our new stuff is more Queens of the Stone Age style stoner rock... we always kinda change as we evolve otherwise it gets boring...

i dont know, man, the movie seemed too "made-for-cable" to me, i know its scottish or british or some shit, but it just felt really low-budgety, i thought the werewolves looked good, but i just didnt like the movie

It's been a while I last enjoyed horror flick this much in theater. Propably because most of the horror flicks shown in theaters here in Finland are shitty scream-a-likes. The end was a little bit strange. Film was shot using digi camera and it really shows in big screen. Also, I cannot understand why this was given "no one under 18" rating. Usually R-rated stuff gets K15.
Spoiler alert! Black text written below.
By the way, it was interesting to notice that guy flying old Hawk fighter (I assume it was that) in the end was speaking Finnish. Damn, it sounded weird and I pretty sure many viewers didn't even notice.

i liked bits of it, though the one black girl really got on my nerves so i couldn't enjoy any scenes involving her.
i wish he kept his hair and such the way it was at the beginning since he looked so cool and different from most leads. it just gave it an extra look of dread. though that might not really be a spoiler.

I finally saw this and I loved it. It was the first truly good old school zombie movie in ages, and I was just delighted. It even had the necessary shopping when the world is dead scenes, old school tunes, and pretty much everything I could have hoped for. One of the best movies in ages.

My g/f and I saw it last nite and we loved it. I even won a 28 days later backpack. I loved the soundtrack and the cinematography it compliment the acting and directing and the film. Though my g/f didnt like the optimistic ending I did it was a refereshing change from all the 70's nihlist horror films Ive seen lately. All in all a great film. I actually think comparisions to Romeros works should look at his film the Crazies instead of the obvious living dead compariosn

I have the region 2 DVD of this. This movie is pretty damn good. Everyone is calling it a zombie film... its far from that. Its an epidemic movie. Kinda scary to think about it too. :)

Yeah. I just saw yet another advanced screening. It opens across Canada this Friday June 27th and should not be missed. Definately makes the shot on (digital) video market more appealing. Everything about the movie is phenominal even thought it is not at all a gore flick.
