That's a bit of a drive for me but where is it going to be held? I dont think I can go to both this and the Dawn of the Dead mall tour...don't have that much time away from work.
I'm 15, my mom wont drive me, none of my older friends know what Re-Animator is, so I guess thats a no for me.

I am however looking forward to hearing about how great the movie is! :D

Just got back from the premiere of Beyond Re-Animator. I actually don't know how to best summarize this. I was able to meet Brian Yuzna and Jeffery Combs, and they did a wonderful Q & A. This movie... man... I don't know the last time I had so much fun in a movie theater. You have to see this movie. If you live anywhere near Philly, get here this weekend and I will go see it with you. It really does go BEYOND Re-Animator. It's gorier, funnier, and more off the wall than either of it's predecessors.

Bride is a fun flick, but let me just put this in perspective... I won't be seeing Beyong Re-Animator for a while, but I guarantee you based on what I've read so far that Bride will be the least fave in the series as far as I'm concerned. This just sounds like a solid flick!

mcchrist that's a really great assumption and will probably ring true for most fans. I'm sorry I can't give you a better review, but I honestly can't think of what to say about this movie. I mean it won't change the face of horror for years to come, if simply because it won't get a wide release. But it is simply the most enjoyable movie going experience I've had in quite a while. This movie starts off Scream-like, and already I was groaning. But Yuzna later explained that they did that as sort of a portal to get old school and new school fans into the movie, and about halfway through it goes far past the absurdity of Re-Animator.

This sounds just fantastic!
I cannot wait for this one on DVD, or better yet, if a local theater actually plays it so I can see it on the big screen.
