Ah jeez, I forgot how many of those I wanted. I'll be getting all of those but the Poltergeist one. Maybe I'll get that one too who knows. I hope Ghoulies 2 has the WASP "Scream until you like it" video. That would be too cool. Very nice to see The Brood added to the list, I've wanted to see that for a while now.

I'm glad to see The Brood officially announced for release on region 1. Been wanting this in my collection for some time.

I am so excited for the new The Howling Special Edition!! I just really want to get rid of that bare bones one now! :D
In my opinion, the cover art for the new Howling is much cooler than the cover art for the bare bones release... I have always liked the one with the woman better than the one with the werewolf on the cover! :)
I've never seen The Brood, but really want to since I love Cronenburg. I hope their disc is cheap so I can pick it up! ;)
Looking at the artwork on that site, it almost looks the "Howling" SE isn't in a standard keepcase like the others. Might MGM be gracing it with one of those "Usual Suspects" slipcover things?

Yeah, where the hell did The Brood come from? I think I've heard about the others, but it's quite the pleasent surprise to see Cronenberg on there. Kick ass.

MGM can't create a DVD cover to save their lives...
I thought Squirm and The Howling's covers look pretty bad ass. All the rest look neat too, but not as cool as those two. I wonder if all these movies will be in their uncut forms if possible.

Well - there goes another wad of ash :D
I won't be getting The Howling. I have the bare bones disc, and honestly don't enjoy the film very much. Those doubt feature usually go for next to nothing ($10-$15) so I can't say no...
I just read about The Brood. This is certainly one of the best horror DVD years ever. I have come soooooo close to buying the import a few times already. I am so glad I waited. Cool cover too!!!

where the hell is the Troll 1 & 2 double feature at?? I hope they use the original artwork for Troll 2, with the kid and the troll doll that aren't in the movie.

This makes me VERY glad my birthday is in July. I suppose I won't be getting my gifts till about a month later, but well, you know the how the old cliche goes about good things, etc. :p

You can't blame MGM for the Howling SE cover art: it's from the VHS back in the day (forgot which company put it out.) I do agree with mcchrist on Raw Meat's cover: what the Hell were they thinking! Oh well, shitty cover or not, I gotta save up for those DVDs.
The artwork for Troll 1/2, Clownhouse, and I Madman is up now.
Damn -- with the double features that's a total of twenty-two movies. I certainly wish certain other studios would take notice...

According to davisdvd (http://www.davisdvd.com/News/daily_news.htm) I, MADMAN is gonna be fullscreen even though they announced a 16:9 Widescreen transfer a few weeks ago, dammit.

Same here Luna. Pisses me off though
Every bit of lunch money I save is going into a big jar labeled "AUGUST", that is going to be one very expensive month.

Maybe it's the horror DVD equivalent to TV sweeps.

Ah YES! It's the first GHOULIES with the second, not a double bill of GHOULIES 2 & 3 as originally mentioned. This is great!

I don't get how MGM decides what goes into the Midnite Movies and what doesn't. SE's like HOWLING and THE GHOUL I can understand but the rest could be part of it...?
