You need more Euro-Horror, IMO, but it may not be your thing.

As for zombie movies - LET SLEEPING CORPSES LIE, DAWN OF THE DEAD, GRAPES OF DEATH, BURIAL GROUND, and HELL OF THE LIVING DEAD all rock.

You need more asian horror as well. Junk, Bio Zombie, Wicked City, Audition and The Untold Stroy to name a few. You've obviouisly picked up a lot of $9.99 specials. Be prepared to drop some serious cash because you are now addicited!

You definately need the original NotLD (get the Millenium edition), Day of the Dead and Dawn of the Dead.

He already has Nightmare City and HotLD listed. :D

oops, my bad :)

ive only ever seen the milenium edition of notld.. id be interested to see the other version to understand why its soo bad!

curious about the 1990 version too... to be honest, notld is a great movie and all, but i dont get too excited about it.. not as excited as i am about dawn and day at least..

There are a million different version of NotLD. If you're going for the black and white (1968) version, go for the ME. I had the SE, which was supposed to be the best version out at the time, but I sold it so I could get the ME. The picture quality is amazing for an old movie. You get a bunch of extras, too.

The 1990 version is a color remake done by Savini. This is one of my favorite remakes. I suggest checking it out. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

what kind of remake is it? like is it a bit different? or is it like the psycho remake.. every frame is identical?

It keeps the names and places the same, ie. the cemetery, she runs to a farmhouse, etc., but the movie kicks ass. The zombies look really good, and it has Tony Todd as Ben. The cover of the DVD is extremely cheesy, but the movie inside is totally worth it.

Thanks for all of the suggestions thus far, they are appreciated and will be looked into. Of course, I will have to wait on the Day and Dawn DVDs until they are released.

Is the "$9.99" specials a bad thing? I couldn't tell if you meant for it to sound like a bad thing or not. I would say that about 1/3 of my horror collection fits in that category.
