Is People Under The Stairs coming to region 1?

A buddy of mine was asking me about this disc.
I told him to get a region free player and the region 2 disc, but he's a dumbass who doesn't want to.
Is there any version of this coming or existing that can be played on a regular region 1 player?

Yes!

There's a legitimate Brazilian region-free NTSC DVD that's uncut anamorphic widescreen and only has a trailer. It's pretty good, and will work on a region 1 player.

The shipping options to the US are pretty damn pricey. $34.95 for UPS? Ouch!!! They've got a rare Motorhead DVD I really want too.

I got my Necronomicon dvd from this site, but through an ebay auction that ended up saving me almost $10!
I saw some Peps Under the Stairs dvds of theirs on ebay, shipping only $6
They're easy to spot, as the user name is the same as the website.

Just got this disc in the mail.Picture-quality is fine on a regular tv,just don't play it on a HDTV with progressive scan.It doesn't look so hot.
Considering the disc is Region 1/3/4 coded,it'll most likely be the exact same disc released here.
