I rented 3 horror flicks. Are these any good?

anyone see any of these films? If so post your comments on them. I am about to watch one or two right now. :D

Never heard of 'em either. Sanitarium definitely sounds like something I'd have seen if it's older, but it's a generic enough title that I can't quite tell if I've ever seen it. I should go look on the IMDB now 'cause I'm wondering. Anyway, like was said above, let us know how they are! :D

Edited: I just looked it up. Unless you picked up a movie from 1910, the only one listed on the IMDB is this one (http://us.imdb.com/Title?0361507) from 2001. It's listed as still being in production though, so either someone didn't take care to update the page or you have a different one entirely! I assume it's the same one because it's been a while and there IS one review... ;)

So nope, I haven't seen this one. :o

I feel even bad posting these movies on here.

Here are my quickY reviews:


DESPISER - To computer animated that gone wrong!. This movie folks is bad... and I mean graphics bad. Kind of remind me of the handheld GP racing games you use to be able to buy in the 80's from Kmart before Gameboy even existed :) .
Its about an grapic designer that lost his job, then when he gets home the wife leaves him. So anyways he's driving and sees 2-kids on the highway and they jump out in front of him so he takes a quick right and bang. He wakes up and he is in a computer grapic world (way to much cheesy) and was going to be attacked by some warlock peps. Anyways here comes the cowboys in computer animated (2) Ford taurus shooting at the warlocks and then pulls up to the guy and tells him to get in the car. Tehy take of and it was a boreing ass movie. I skipped like 8 chapters out of 22 or something like that,,, but it was awful. They consider this as horror. I say keep away from it!

SANITARIUM To much cheese that Jerry the mouse did not even want to eat it. :lol:
-I didn't even get 10 minutes into it. This movie is wack. It looks like it was shot with an old 1990 VHS camcorder or something. Acting was a joke. I guess it was about some virus that was man made and it was used in an looney house. I started to FF this shit. It was crap. Another Brit movie gone bad! I didnt even finish it. I say keep away from it.

DEADLY SPECIES - Seems really slow. I did not get to finish it. Kinda reminds me of Predator,, but way slower. I have it on bookmark on my dvd player,, so when I get home I will coninue where I left off. So far this movie is better then the other 2.



BTW- Luna, that is the same movie. It sucked :(

Damn you had bad luck Shift. Hopefully Deadly Species will improve and at least be a pretty good movie.

you should know better than to not rent those movies at blockbuster and hollywood with the horrible, horrible covers. at least i'm guessing that's where you got them. :banana:

Heck if I rent it and come back in 30 minutes and say that movie blows ass, I would hope that they would say" Would you like to get something else? :D

Have anyone done that before w/ BlockBuster or Hollywood Video?

I learned my lesson about renting those crappy 'horror' films at Hollywood Video. Anything by 'Dead Alive Productions' or anything that has raves on the box by the director should generally be avoided. Except maybe the 'Quiltface' movie. That was OK. I like crappy cheesy movies, but those direct-to-video, usually shot on video crapfests are even too craptastic for my crappy taste.

BB has that return policy. My friend uses it all the time. Says this movie/game sucks and if he can exchange it with something else.
