I just received my copy of mother's day on dvd from www.dvdplanet.com (http://www.dvdplanet.com) the other day.Has anyone here purchased this classic 80's slasher yet? The transfer is full frame and so/so image wise, still the best the movie has looked by far.Where this disc really shines is in the commentary.Charles Kaufman's really laid back and gives a very listenable and informative commentary. One thing that was really neat was finding out that this movie was filmed at the same exact time as the original friday the 13th and at the same location in new jersey right across the lake.I highly recommend that you all give this release a try,the artwork on the disc and sleeve are also very cool,so it'll look nice on your shelf next to texas chainsaw massacre,i spit on your grave, and sleepaway camp.
