Okay, I figured this would have been asked by this point in the day. What goodies did you all unwrap today?

I got:
Nutty Professor - The Klupms
Big Momma's House
(guilty pleasures, so let's just not go there)
Scary movie (going to watch for the first time tonight)
American Beauty
and Patti LaBelle - Live
(another guilty pleasure)

Quite a simple Christmas really. I got a lot more practical stuff (vaccum for car, pizza stone, CHOCOLATE!!!) since everyone knows I get my movies cheaper through work, and already have everything that I need horror wise.

I only got two, Flatliners and Ready to Rumble.

Most of my family is technology illiterate, so I'm lucky I didn't end up with VHS. http://www.horrordvds.com/forum/smile.gif

My brother got me a cheap DVD player at Walmart for $120. No surprise that it broke after a few days (I opened it up at his house last week so he could watch a few DVDs). Anyway, I returned it to Walmart today w/o a box and w/o a receipt - got a $120 gift card. Going to pickup X-Files Season Two later today, which should only cost $90 after my $10 coupon.

I'm depressed - I didn't get a single DVD this year http://www.horrordvds.com/forum/frown.gif http://www.horrordvds.com/forum/frown.gif http://www.horrordvds.com/forum/frown.gif. I did get a couple of gift certificates to the big online retailers, so I'm going to pick up some discs with that. I also got a cell phone, which doesn't work because my house is in one of those "service dead zones". http://www.horrordvds.com/forum/mad.gif

Since I can't send my poor mother off to buy horror films, I just got a gift certificate to Amazon.com.

Not sure what I'm getting yet. Might even get some *books*!

(Actually, I did get a pretty cool review guide - the New York Times top 1000 movies of all time, a series of retrospectives. Not a lot of horror, but it's interesting to see which ones got good marks when they were released, and which ones were treated like NOTLD, which got three paragraphs, mostly bitchin' about the bad quality and bad acting.)

I love the Beastie Boys. The Criterion disc rocks. I'm very pleased with it.

I've listened to the cd at least 20 times now, but when you watch the dvd be warned, it requires you to push the title button, I believe, to go back to the previous menu. Trust me it's a bitch, especially since I don't have a title button http://www.horrordvds.com/forum/confused.gif.
