Are They Live and Prince of Darkness NOT out on R1 DVD?

Image released them a while back, and there is a review for POD on the main site here. But they've been discontinued and no word has been said as to whether or not they will be rereleased. Universal now owns the rights, and I'd say they will eventually get around to releasing it, just like they are finally doing with the John Hughes films, which were also previously released by Image.

Sound and pic were good, although I can't remember the exact specs. I GAVE mine away when I bought the much better R2 UK versions of them.

They both had 2.0 surround, and both were anamorphic. I still haven't sold mine yet even though I have the R2 versions.

It figures, I finally tape the damn thing off of the TV and they rerelease it.

Well at least I didn't pay big bucks for the original release.
