In a thread here you mention the Nanny. Did you know this is out in R2?

What a bargain! The Nanny is Hammer at its non-monster best - Bette Davis is incredible.

Of course it's 1:33, mono soundtrack and no extras. But what the hey, this one is a classic all the way.

By the way, incase you don't know, The Blue Lamp is the film that inspired the Dixen of Dock Green TV series. Man, I'd love that to come out!

I remember seeing "The Nanny" for the first time in the late 70s. It scared the HELL out of me. It was difficult for me to take a bath for some time. Bette Davis is pure evil in this one and the bath tub scene still gives me the creeps! :nervous:

I am guessing 20th Century-Fox still owns the domestic rights to this film? I believe they have the rights to THE ANNIVERSARY as well? Unless I get a R2 player, I will have to keep dreaming.
