Can anyone tell me the best DVd version of HALLOWEEN 3 to get?
I'd prefer a PAL version but I've heard some are cut and the ones that aren't, don't have even a stereo audio track.
Any recommendations for this ( and I don't mean "it's crap" comments!!)
Always though it was a bit of an underrated wee flick.
Cheers

Ack! Chrishicks, you beat me to it.
:D
The best version could be the one that is going to be released later this year. Who knows what could happen between now and then? (We can HOPE they will upgrade it to a SE :D )

Thanks folks.
This seems to increase my trouble deciding though.
Seems that if i want a stereo soundtrack, I've got to take a cut version.( Noooooo!!!!) Sometimes when they state that something is DD 2.0 it's actually stereo (old fashioned, non surround kind) Anyone got any of these versions that can offer any advice on the sound?

I have the Goodtimes region 1 disc right now, just an O.K. 2.0 soundtrack on that. I ordered the reg2 SE that is supposed to have a 5.1 track, but word is the picture is cropped from 2.35 to 1.78, so it will be traded or sold pretty quick unless the commentary is absolutly awesome (which I've heard it isn't). I'll post a small review of what the disc has to offer when I get it.
As much as I hate to say it, the Universal re-issue coming up may be the best, but it's listed as a 2.0 soundtrack as well.
If sound is more important than proper picture for you, then the reg2 might be what you need.

Look here (http://www.ofdb.de/view.php?page=film&fid=188) for all the different versions, that are out there! Just klick on the link of the different countries to find out about specs! Whenever there is scissors in front of the link, then it's cut!!!
