I would love to see Anchor Bay release a dvd Box Set of various influencial Euro Horror movies.
Any certain movies you'd like to see in it?

The Fulci or Argento collection (with a few extras) would be pretty cool.

I agree, I'd like to see box sets of the Fulci and Argento collections, even though I already own several of the discs.
Also, maybe a "best of" Eurohorror box set with, and I know the choices would be controversial, the kind of discs that would be a good introduction to the genre. Maybe Beyond and COTLD from Fulci, Suspiria and Deep Red from Argento, and two discs from this new guy they're going to be using (who I know nothing about).
There have been so many posts - some by me - on "what should I start with" that maybe that one would be a nice collector set for newbies to Eurohorror.
Maybe they could work the tins in somehow if they wanted to go LE. (I can hear Django now...)

You wouldn't be thinking of Bruno Mattei, would you?

That's Jason's favorite director! http://www.horrordvds.com/forum/tongue.gif

LOL! Mine, too!
I used to be really puzzled at the decision by the good folks at Anchor Bay to release a retrospective by Mattei, but hey...maybe they've just got a great sense of humor. And Mark, as you once said, inflicting Night Of The Zombies on a group of unsuspecting friends would be worth a chuckle or two...

That's right, John E. Smoke! http://www.horrordvds.com/forum/biggrin.gif This movie's so bad, it would be a crime not to have it in your collection.
Sorry, Jason! http://www.horrordvds.com/forum/smile.gif

Stay far far far far away from his films. Just take my word for it.

Ace, be afraid. Be very afraid.
Here are some "glowing" reviews for Night of the Zombies:

I read the reviews, Mark. Yurf. And this is Anchor Bay's latest Euro-collection?
Not to start a whole nother rant, but we get this instead of Cemetery Man?

My thoughts exactly. They have Soavi's other movies on tap. Who has the rights to Cemetery Man?
