Im Glad to know it is finally underway.I do believe it will be called Return to sleepaway camp.All in all #4.That bonus disk was not even close to a movie.Just out takes and i really dought they would build on that garbage :eek1:

I am very excited about this movie, although I will miss Pamela as Angela as she is one of my favorite movie killers ever. Still, as long as they don't in any way shape or form use the footage they shot for 4, we will be in business. :banana:

There is going to be a movie made called sleepaway camp 4 building on the footage from the bonus disc, or so the website says, but there will also be the first "OFFICIAL" sequel to sleepaway camp called A Return to sleepaway camp starring Felissa Rose and directed by Hiltzik.

You know I've never seen The Sleepaway Camp movies? I wouldn't mind seeing them though. I loved all the Jason movies,Halloween movies,Evil Dead movies. As long as the movie is on point to scare or laugh at right on!

The filming for RETURN TO SLEEPAWAY CAMP wraps up this week... I was an extra in the movie last weekend (got a chance to meet "Angela," "Ricky," and "Ronnie" as well as Robert and Jeff). Also saw plenty of Vinny Pastore ("Big Pussy" from the Sopranos) walking around the set. I was bummed I missed Issac Hayes, who was there the week before. :)

As a big fan of the original (and a fan of the series as a whole), I'm really looking forward to this one. It should be a great return to general mood and atmosphere of the original, with a lot of new, unknown actors and some creative death scenes... just one of those fun movies that's miles removed from the typical Hollywood drivel that passes for horror in 2003.

It started as a fansite only but the fan got involved in the 4th film as well (which I believe actually acts as an alternate part 2).

It sounds like a very limited (probably New York only) theatrical run and a quick dvd/vhs release.
