Volcano High (KOREA 2001) To be released by MTV

I hear this South Korean (http://www.lovehkfilm.com/panasia/volcano_high.htm) flick with a lot of flash and little substance is being released by MTV with a hiphop soundtrack. This is going to be interesting.

That sucks. This films is so cool. It does have great emphasis on style but is a fun ride from beginning to end. The actors are really cool and seemed to have a lot of fun being in the film. Not a horror film by any means, but there is a lot of cool martial arts involved and this is one of a few non horror films that I look forward to viewing over and over agian in the near future (non hip hop version).

I ordered the original release of this film recently. Should be here soon. I too heard about this new release and had to get the original b4 MTV fucks it up. (hip hop... blahh) :)

Considering it was cut for the hk "international" release I'd bet it's probably that version. Anyway...see the original korean version. It's a fun movie.
