Which version of Bio-Zombie?

I know this has been discussed before, but I don't recall ever hearing a direct comparison between the two Bio-Zombie discs.

Has someone got both and if so, which do you recommend? The Mediablasters or the import?

It's about time for me to pick this up (I'm starting to have zombie-withdrawal ;) ) and need to choose wisely.

oh yeah, i forgot, i was going to post something on the last thread - i told you guys to remind me!

let's see...

one crucial thing: the much-heralded video game stats are in english on the media blasters version.

another crucial thing: the mei ah import has an alternate ending that's not on the media blasters disc.

video and audio, neither are exceptional - media blasters gets the edge on video, but not by much. the sound is indistinguishable as far as any major difference.

the subtitles on the media blasters disc, while not perfect, are better.

the media blasters disc also has an english dub, if that's your thing.

overall, neither one jumps out as better than the other - here's my dilemma - media blasters has more english emphasis (the dub, the stats) but mei ah has the alternate ending.

normally, i'd only keep one version of the disc, but i can't make up my mind which. if the media blasters disc had the alternate ending, i'd keep that one for sure, though.

hope this helps. maybe i'll try a real formal review for this reviewers tryout. this is just some thoughts down quick.

No prob. Like I said, if the alternate ending were on the Media Blasters disc, that'd be the one to get (assuming you don't know Chinese). But it is a tough call.

i'd say go for the Mei Ah one. both versions have their pros and cons, but seeing that the Mei Ah one is about US$5 from www.dddhouse.com it'll cost you a lot less at least.
