I see Anchor bay will be releasing yet ANOTHER version of HALLOWEEN on DVD!!
This one is labeled 'the extended version' with the 12 extra TV minutes added in. Does any one know anything else on this. I mean, is that all that will be on the disc? I was about to buy one of the many versions floating around out there mainly for the EXTRAS. If anyone knows of any 'extras' this disc will have or is rumored to have, that could help. I'll probably just wait anyways.

Misfitz, it's the second disc from the previously released AB limited edition. If you want extras, the existing AB disc is well worth purchasing. I haven't seen the extended television version but I've read mixed reviews. If you're a completist, it's probably worth purchasing the 2 AB discs (it's also a helluva lot cheaper than bidding for the ltd edtn on Ebay!).

I already have the Halloween Limited edition 2 disc set, So I don't need this one.
I really don't like this behavior:
"I have the limited edition, so I don't have to buy one"
I don't want to make anyone angry but you really do not have to show off or tell us that you own the item because noone asked you about it.
So, please try to be informative and useful!

Settle down kiddies.
I was pissed as shit when I couldn't get the 2 disc LE for Halloween (it's numba 2 on my list) but this one will definitely be mine, I have never seen the TV cut, so needless to say, I'm anxious.

The Extended version of Halloween is in great quality, and is a great disc to have for Halloween fans. It adds much more back story on Michael Myers and Dr. Loomis, although the extra footage is pretty much added on in the beginning and does some what slow down the pacing of the film. I already own the LE, but I just might pick this one up. IT has some kick ass cover art to boot!

When I got my 2 Disc Set I was wetting myself to see the added 12 mins but I must confess there's little to get excited about. They were filmed at the same time as Halloween 2, so when the original movie was shown on US TV it would fill a 2 hour time slot.
