View Full Version : Reeeeeeally Simple Question

OK, there are going to be 3 seperate 2-disc sets of Argento's films coming out sometime soon. The only one of these 6 films that I have on DVD is Tenebre. What I'm wondering is, should I sell Tenebre off eBay for $12 or so and buy all 3 of the 2-disc sets? or should I stick with my copy and just buy Deep Red (which would come with Tenebre in the 2-disc set) and buy the other 2 2-disc sets?
Confused? I am.

I'd sell your Tenebre, then pick up the (3) 2 disc sets. You'll probably make enough from e-bay to pay for a good chunk of the sets.

Okay, this is picky, but I'll say it anyway. I REALLY think that the covers on those new 2-disc box sets are TACKY and cheap looking. I mean the artwork on the box itself, not the disc cases (I assume those are the same as the separately sold discs). Alright, that's my petty gripe for the day.

Yeah, the cover art does kinda suck, but let me put it this way, I can get each of the seperate DVDs for $20, or I can get the 2-disc sets for $25. You make the call, I did cuz I ain't rich.

Of course, I totally agree. You gotta go with what's more affordable. We horror fans have to be thrifty 'cause there's too much damn stuff to buy! I can't keep up with the pace that stuff is being released. I'd totally get the box sets if I didn't have the single discs already. Enjoy those Argento discs! :D
