Contest winners

Two winners will be chosen. The first winner will win four DVDs of their choice, while the second winner gets the remaining three. That's seven DVDs total! The DVDs are: The Thing, House of Wax, Wait Until Dark, The Omega Man, Soylent Green, The Haunting, and Of Unknown Origin.

The winners are Luna and Hellbilly. The moderators and I have decided these are the two people who have been top quality posters, not only during the specified time frame, but also just in general.

Luna and Hellbilly - I will PM you tomorrow with more details and to get your contact information. Luna has first pick of four DVDs of her choice.

Sadly, a few of these DVDs have broken disc holders inside. I am trying to find a local store that stocks snapper cases. If I do, I'll replace them. If I don't, well, it's up to you to do that, I'm afraid. If that happens, I'll certain ship the disc in a CD jewel case or something - to ensure it's not damaged in shipping.

How did Luna win? I know I would not have won, that's not why I'm asking, I never expected to. I think there are a couple more people suited to have taken her spot. She won FIRST PLACE too!!, which is absurd, in my opinion. I'm sure others will agree with me, although I don't expect them to speak up.

I just am curious how, because I rarely ever see her make horror related posts, review movies, make polls etc. Instead, I see threads/posts about her white trash neighbors, fruit juice and mug shot photos. How does that contribute to a HORROR DVDS forum?

Yeah, I was actually curious about that also. Helly I understand because of all of his horror polls and reviews of R2 discs, but I was a bit confused on the choice of Luna as well. Again, of course I mean no offense and have nothing personal in this, but I too feel certain people proved their worth a bit more.

On the bright side I'm in Atl. right now, saw my Pistons win Friday night, saw the Falcons win today, and am getting along fine with my GF's mom!

Simple. The moderators and I discussed it and those are the winners we came up with. I already mentioned this in the original post.

It's odd because when I search for Luna's name, I found a ton of posts in nearly ALL forums with her participation in them. I guess the search is broken, huh?

Don't like it? Well, the words 'tough' and 'shit' come to mind.
