i was going thru the upcoming releases from image and i came across this. it actually looks like something i might have to add to the collection. has anyone seen this or the other movie that's on the disc 'one million heels b.c.'?
anyway the special edition comes out next month. any opinions?

Now I just got an e-mail from them saying that they took it off my list completely because they can no longer carry it. Was it canceled?

Great website, I visit it quite frequently. Fred's a really cool and genuinely nice guy. He sent me some of the original animation cells from Evil Toons last year. I haven't seen his new film yet, but I always enjoy the majority of his films.

I got mine about a week ago. I thoroughly enjoyed it and the bonus feature. The commentary track with Fred Olen Ray & Jim Wynorski is a ton of fun. I just wish Fred still did those DVD episodes of Night Owl Theater!

well, i walked out on this movie last night. after listening to my wife bitch about never getting to watch movies she picks, i gave this one a chance. right of the bat the quality of the film and the terrible acting gave it that cheap run down porno feel. they did show some titties and ass which kept me watching for a bit but once all the scream queens squeezed into a hot tub that is too small for two people, let alone 5, and started showing clips of all the horror movies and pornos they had been in, i called it quits. so i went in the other room and watched a few minutes of spike and mikes and then went back into the theater room to find my wife asleep :rolleyes:

i was trying to find that 'does your significant other like the movies you like' thread so i could complain. lately all she wants to watch is troma and other cheeseball horror shit. i can't get her to watch any good movies with me. i like alot of foreign horror but i hate the cheap production look.

Yeah, this movie was cheesy, even for me! It did look like a porno, which would explain the explicitness of the picture on the disc. There were a couple of good parts(Brinke giving proper instruction on how Scream Queens take a shower). The Kelli Maroney part was terrible. She is just naked in a room, puts lotion on her tits(one was bigger than the other one). Then she starts lifting weights naked! So basically, they get all these "Scream Queens"(I don't consider Monique Gabrielle a "scream queen" but she was in EvilToons, so oh well)together to reminisce about all of their old movies. So its just an excuse to rehash a bunch of T&A that we have seen before. It just wasn't as cool and campy as I thought it would be. It definitely was no "Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers" that's for sure.(I noticed that when they referred back to that movie, it would say "Hollywood Chainsaw Massacre" at the bottom of the screen, now that's quality production value!!) If Linnea Quigley was in this, it would have been better.
