cant wait I loved the first one? Is the movie done? Is it coming to dvd soon?

From what I understand, the film is completed and is having an Asian premiere this month (March 18) in about 300 theaters. Surprisingly, information on this sequel is hard to come by. And not that it's the holy grail of movie talk, but I can't even find a page for the sequel on the imdb.

So this is about to come to DVD (R3 NTSC), is anyone going to pick it up?
Anyone hear anything about it besides that review CodeZ posted?

I really adore the first one, but wish I had more to go on than an aintitcool review before ordering the sequel, if only to adjust expectations before it arrives. If anyone picks this up or sees a different review, please share with the class.

I don't trust them. I trust no one but my instict. I'm all for it. If I'm wrong, I have only myself to blame.

If this sequel ever gets a proper R1 release, I'd be up to getting it. The first one rocked.

Can't say I really enjoyed the first one, but i'm still probably going to watch the sequel anyway. I guess the first one was a little too slow for my taste.

You can also pick it up here for 10.99

I watched The Eye 2 last night. No connection with the The Eye except for the title and that it is about a woman who's seeing ghosts. I liked it, although it's not as good as the first one. It scared the #@&% out of me at a couple of points, but it's not as scary as the first movie overall. The lead actress was excellent, and the story also pretty good, although not all that original (but neither was The Eye). The Hong Kong DVD is anamorphic and has a DTS track, and the quality is pretty good. Worth checking out for the low prices you can get it from at some online retailers like CD-Wow.
