I liked it too - didn't have a problem with that part in question

I thought it was fitting that the young girl got so attached to the mutt after she lost her father.

There were a lot of holes in this movie, but I was willing to pretend I didn't see them ;) Looking forward to the DVD and hope that there will be more scenes to explain some of the discrepancies I noticed

I, for one, liked her, and as I said in my review in my official Dawn thread, I had no problem at all with her going after the dog, because I see it that she really latched onto the dog after her father's demise, and when Kenneth says its got him, she didn't know he meant the zombie got Andy, and assumed they went after the dog after all.
