What horror movies do you think should have had sequels.....doesnt' matter how the first one ended...with so many movies out there with sequels i believe there are some that were left out. Killer Klowns from Outer Space,Night of The Creeps,Tales from the Crypt presents Demon Knight,The Monster Squad and The Blob. That's all i can think of for now.

Frankenhooker!!
When that movie ended all I could think of was "That's it??!! I want more!!"
Well, I don't know if this counts, since it is already a sequel, but my vote goes to Inferno.

Should we really be hoping for more sequels?

It's better than hoping for more remakes. :eek2:

Sequels are so much more needed than remakes. There are a few movies that need sequels.
Night of the Creeps
Black Christmas
My Bloody Valentine
The Thing
Blood Hook
I'm sure there are more but that's all I can think of right now.

Black Christmas does not need a sequel ever. Not knowing who the killer was made it so creepy. They should just leave it at that.

If the commentary by Bob Clark is to be believed, Black Christmas would have had a sequel called Halloween. This may be off topic but does anyone think John Carpenter lifted this idea for his own movie? You are right, the more I thought about it, the more I agree that Black Christmas does not need a sequel but they are making a remake with Jackie from that 70s show as Jess and Paris Hilton as Barb.
Nah, I'm kidding They aren't making this remake..... yet

I was going to bring that up, but figured someone else would say something like that as well. I also think Black Christmas is a superior film to Halloween - and it's one of my favorite movies ever. I love Canadian movies. :)

Larry Hagman directed "Son of Blob" in 1972. I'm not sure if you could call it an offical sequel or not, but it was made.
I'd love to see a "Big Trouble in Little China" sequel. Hell, I'd like to see any excuse to get Carpenter and Russell back together for another film. In my opinion they've only done one really sub-par film together, that being "Escape From L.A.".

I remember seeing this movie a long time ago and while I don't know if a sequel should be made, it should definetly be out on DVD. There were a lot of nude bodies in this one if I remember correctly.

nude bodies galore. but the genius lies in an invisible man shoving a hoagie down a guy's throat!

That's a winning combination. I should help spread the word. You don't see a hoagie being shoved down a guy's throat every day

and even tho i think alot of movies are good when it leaves you hanging and saying "wtf!?" and they dont always need neat wraped up endings, i think christine should have had one and i think a the beyond sequal showing the aftermaths of opening the doors would be cool

yes mgm's special edition dvd sold very well so from what i heard the chiodo
brothers went to mgm with a script in mind and mgm approved of it and the
movie got a greenlight so they are just getting everything together and who knows when it will officially be announced but more likely will be direct to video and special edition dvd here are the current titles for it
1. KILLER KLOWNS STRIKE BACK
2. KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE 2
3. KILLER KLOWNS 2
4. KILLER KLOWNS BACK FROM SPACE
5. K2:INVASION OF THE KLOWNS :sperm:

No offense to anybody, but I believe most films that have a sequal, shouldn't even have 'em. Like Friday The 13th, there should have only been the first one, and if they decided to make sequals, they should have stopped with part 4 (which is called "The Final Chapter") A Nightmare On Elm Street should have never had one and the same for Child's Play and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The only film I think should have had a sequel was Halloween, but they should have only made the fist two.
But to answer the thread's question, Scalps should have had a sequal, I mean at the end of the credits they even said there would be one. (And the same thing happened with Bubba Ho Tep and Buckaro Banzai)
And remakes suck.
