...But Wish You Hadn't! :(
I've had a couple of old vhs/dvds throughout the years I owned and sold just to make a couple of bucks- instead of holding onto them, I'd sell 'em for $2.00 or something, and now I could have sold them for so much more-Hell, some I wish I still had just to watch. Like the Bride Of Re-Animator special edition dvd, I bet I sold that for about $5.00, now I could have sold probably for over $20.00 (Since it is oop and rare, I kinda wish I still had it!) Have any of you done that? It makes you wanna kick yourself in the ass!

You sold Bride of Re-Animator? Wow I don't think I could have parted ways with it but I usually sell movies I know I will never watch again. There are a couple that I do wish I still had. I wish I had not sold Snuff. It is a horrible movie but I know I could have gotten more money for it than I did. I also got rid of my Friday the 13th collection in preperation for the box set but it sounds like the new DVD's won't be much better than the originals.

I didn't sell it, but I gave my Mission Impossible 2 dvd away to my friend because I hated the movie so much. I wish I still had it now, just to watch that Ben Stiller skit where he impersonates Tom Cruise. That was pretty funny.

I was gonna put in Fulci's Aenigma to at least hear that song in the film's opening, then I remembered that I sold the DVD. :o Other than that one I don't think I've had any regrets. ;)
The only one I've ever sold was my old Reservoir Dogs DVD after buying the new one.

The only thing I regret is my puppet master box set. Damn why did I sell that? Now I remember because I got 200 dollars for it.

When the special editions of CHILDREN OF THE CORN and CREEPSHOW 2 come out, I'll say bye bye to the old versions (sure, I won't bget as much for them, but I'll get some decent cash from Half Price Books because they're DVDs and not VHS). Plus, my PD version of THE BEAST OF YUCCA FLATS and my Passport Video version of PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE are going (due to the improved picture quality on both of them, which I ordered from DeepDiscount).
On movies that I wish I hadn't, mine is my DVD of GOING OVERBOARD. For some strange, odd reason that I can't put my finger on, I regeret it.
Kwaidan - Criterion Collection
A classic case of what the hell was I thinking when I sold that one.

I've sold plenty of movies that I regret selling, because after I sold them I had a craving to watch them again. These include Jungle Holocaust, Zombi Holocaust, Eaten Alive (1980), Burial Ground, and tons tons more. However, my DVD collection probably wouldn't be what it is today without selling those, because some of them I traded and others I sold and got different DVDs with the money, so maybe it's not necessarily a bad thing. Oh well... guess I'll have to buy them again when I get the chance... I've stopped selling DVDs right now for the most part, that is unless I think it's a really horrid movie.
I sold the original Theatrical cut disc of Dawn of the Dead three years ago when word was first spread around about a boxed set... stupid me, I only paid $10 for it and nearly fainted when I saw people were getting around $80 - $100 for it selling it on eBay before the newest disc came out.

Well, I never look back on things and complain that I could have gotten more later on. What's done is done, there's always a better deal out there. Mind you, I have gotten rid of so few discs. Like others here, I buy, I put on the shelf. Worst for me is seeing a bargain - not buying it - and then wishing I had later. Especially when I saw it in another country.

I bought the regular Maniac dics but after I watched it I wish that I bought the tin. I know it isn't the same thing but that bugged me. Also, speaking of good deals, I saw Altman's 3 Women for dirt cheap and I passed on it and I now regret it.
I haven't sold any DVD's but I have given some duplicates away. I hate having duplicates so I felt good about giving them to someone else. One that I would like to get rid of is Lust for Frankenstein by Jess Franco. Stink-o-rama!
