:eek1::eek1::eek1:

I am SO shocked to hear this fantastic news! Too much good news in one week makes me have a heart attack. :eek2:

Anyway, I've been dying to replace my old, worn VHS of He Knows You're Alone with a shiny, new DVD. I wouldn't mind having Return of the Living Dead Part 2 or The Hunger, either. :)

I just want It's Alive on DVD. I don't remember the sequels being that good.
Have you guys seen this It's Alive puppet?

I wouldn't mind having one, but they're pricey.

Just the three It's Alive films for me, as I dislike He Knows You're Alone, and despise ROTLD II. Never seen The Hunger, so I may give it a rental.

He Knows You're Alone is boring as hell. I won't mind The Hunger, though.

I only see the FOX announcements of TERROR TRAIN and the LEGACY sets.

Why do so many people not like The Hunger? It's one of my all time favourite vampire films. The first half hour is especially awesome.

Do you know Basketcase and it's sequels? The "It's Alive" sequels follow a similar path. Nothing beats the original, but they're fun.

Of course, we've all known about It's Alive for a long time. I'll be buying this ASAP.

i agree but maybe its too artsy for some people. My question is why do so many people like HE KNOWS YOURE ALONE! it is terrible, there is almost no blood, it is very predicatble, and actually plays like apolice story episode!

and yes, EYES OF A STRANGER is a much much better movie than HE KNOWS YOUR ALONE.

He Knows You're Alone is a very bland slasher. The theater scene was effective, but that's very faint praise. I would love to see an uncut version of Eyes. The butchered one plays like some sleazy TV movie. Not always a bad thing...

The reason I love He Knows You're Alone and I think the reason it's well liked by a lot of people is because I saw it as a kid a lot. Those slashers I loved as a kid, whether they are actually good or not, always hold a place in my mind with my favorite movies.

Yeah, they like to give us it all at once!! Damn, it'd be nice to have it spread out so it doesn't hurt the wallet as much!!

I'm thrilled about the commentaries for He Knows You're Alone and Return of the Living Dead Part II. I know most of these covers have been unleashed onto the public, but does anyone know what the cover for He Knows is gonna look like?

He Knows You're Alone is a pretty good film in my estimation. Despite being low on gore and nudity, it is quite suspenseful and has its moments. I also like the fact that the killer does not conceal his identity, very atypical of the slasher genre. I agree with the person who said that we often feel a certain fondness for films that we saw as kids, even though they may not be four star material. All in all, He Knows You're Alone is a nice little Halloween knock off, it may not be Joe Zito's The Prowler gorewise but hey different strokes for different folks right?? Looking forward to this DVD, and yeah Ryan it is an awesome cover, very similar to the original VHS that I must've rented a hundred times as a kid.

I own that old VHS. :)

I love the film, too. It IS pretty much a Halloween knock-off (but what slasher film isn't?) and isn't the best slasher ever made, but I find it highly enjoyable.

Nm about my features question. Anyhow, Funeral Home and the uncut Slaughter High on DVD would rock! Too bad there's no behind the scenes shit or blooper/gag reels, but if they're priced cheap enough, I'll go for it.
