Green Snake... good?

I found this at dvdasian and want to order it. Just wondering if anyone has seen this flick? Is it good?... Tsui Hark stuff... always fun by me. Just wanna hear some opinions first before I buy. :)

I am a fan of fantasy fu and I absolutely hated Green Snake. Not one of Hark's best efforts.

I think this movie is quite good. The visuals are excellent. There are times when the SFX is... well hong kongy but what do you expect from a Hong Kong fantasy film. I ordered the remastered edition from dvdasian as well. There's a few parts where I wondered if that scene had gone through the remastering process but was still happy with the movie. Maggine Cheung is in it... how can that be wrong?

It is a good movie and very visually fantastic other than the occasionally crappy, low budget, HK sfx. I have the Mei Ah remastered DVD and it is MUCH better than the crappy Tai Seng DVD.
