Finally saw City of the Living dead, it was pretty damn good. Great atmosphere, cool effects.

Ordered Inferno/Phenomena, Deep Red/Tenebre, and Demons/Demons 2. Anyone have any comments on these two disc sets? From what I understand, it's one of those bigger 2-disc boxes (like Big Trouble in Little China, Carnival of Souls-Criterion, etc.) with each film on a seperate disc. Is it just the discs repackaged? Does it still have the poster replica inserts? Basic questions like that.

Also pre-ordered Opera for $21 at DDD, Suspiria for $30 (w/shipping) at 800.com, and The Wicker man for $24 at DDD.

The movies are on different discs and they come with the poster-art inserts.

Of the ones mentioned, I only have the Dario Argento Collection 3(Tenebrae, Deep Red). The case includes an insert for both films. The Tenebrae insert features the painted picture of the girl with slashed throat on one side and the other side features the track listing along with the picture that's on the case itself. The Deep Red insert is folded and has a two page article with a track listing on the back and the corpse on the front.
I ordered the Inferno/Phenomena set, but haven't recieved it yet. I skipped the Demons set since it really doesn't belong in the Argento Collection.
I had never seen Inferno before and was pretty shocked. The first few minutes of the film look really bad. It looks like a cheesey 80's porno. The Donna Summer like music doesn't help. Thankfully the film is very well written and the music takes a sharp turn after the first murder. I ended up liking the film quite a bit. The alternate credit sequence was pretty funny. I can imagine how shocked and angry Argento must have felt when that horrible song was attached.

I guess you are talking about Tenebre not Inferno, right?
