I was reading the review for THE BEAUTIFUL, THE BLOODY AND THE BARE (1964)/BEHIND LOCKED DOORS (1968) Something Weird dvd on DVD Drive In's site and in the review it said that VCI is gonna be putting out Scream Bloody Murder on dvd in a few months. I remember seeing it a long time ago and it wasn't that good but I will give it another chance and get the dvd.

Edit: I just saw on their front page this

In the "coming soon" department, VCI Entertainment has introduced two new budget lines of DVDs that will retail for well less than $10 a pop. The "Cinema Pop" line has been hyped by VCI as "Entertaining valued priced DVDs for customers who love: Action, Adventure, Family Films, Horror and Cult Classics that POP!" Titles will include "Scream Theater" double features of the 70s gore nuggets SCREAM BLOODY MURDER with SISTERS OF SATAN and the 80s horrors THE LAST SLUMBER PARTY with TERROR AT TENKILLER. Also in the series is the long-awaited release of DEATH GAME with Sondra Locke and Coleen Camp, a "drive-in" double feature of Greydon Clark's THE HI-RIDERS and THE BAD BUNCH and the 1971 sci-fi programmer THE RESURRECTION OF ZACHARY WHEELER. VCI's other new DVD series is called "Acme DVD Works" which promises high quality versions of some older public domain staples, including Bela Lugosi double features of BLACK DRAGONS/THE CORPSE VANISHES and SPOOKS RUN WILD/GHOSTS ON THE LOOSE. Naturally, the latter titles will be full frame, but expect the same for the Cinema Pop titles as well (at least the price is right). No exact dates listed, but they are coming in the near future.

Thanks to Billy, I finally remembered I had these discs and watched Sisters of Death and Scream Bloody Murder this week. (I had watched The Last Slumber Party a few times and forgotten them.) The quality of the DVD is, as expected, very bad, but hell, I paid $3.24 for the disc so I can't complain that much. I really enjoyed both movies though. Were they actually good movies? Hell no. However, they were excellent bad cheesy slashers, and since that is my bread and butter, I was all set. Scream Bloody Murder was exceptionally fun to watch, with the lead actor with the hook hand's performance just spinning more and more out of control as the movie progressed. Also, Angus Scrimm has a small part; it seems to be one of his first roles. Fun times. I love finding new slashers to enjoy.

The Scream Bloody Murder transfer doesn't look too good, but the Sisters of Death transfer looks much better than the previous Brentwood editions.

I'm pretty sure that The Last Slumber Party and Terror at Tenkiller were filmed originally on a video format, so they'll probably look as good as they ever will.
