Strong cast.


I remember this being panned by critics, well they can go to hell, this film had some great horror atmosphere, and Peter O Tool was cool in it.

Yeah, I dig the book, and am a fan of the movie. Quite frankly, I feel it's underrated. Too bad they haven't made more of Koontz' works into good solid horror movies. Like Whispers, Strangers, and Dark Rivers of the Heart to name a few.

yea i liked this. the town it was filmed in i go to and stay at every summer practiaclly. Georgetown, Colorado. some of the restraunts in the backround ive eaten at and stuff. pretty cool.

I love the book. So I couldn't help be disappointed by the movie. And I was really excited about it. They came up with a really good cast, but the script was shoddy, and the film was way too dark.

The book was above average. The movie wasn't to good at all. Watchable but nothing above ordinary.

I really dig Koontz. He has written some amazing books. Lightning is one of my favorites. I agree, more of his works should be made into films. THese could all be solid hits or at least they should be.

I remember renting it hoping to see Rose McGowans tits. That didn't happen. Overal I thought it was kinda boring but I still enjoyed it.

It's one of my favorite movies ever. Great atmosphere. the ending is a kind of let down but the first 45 minutes makes up for it. The 5.1 track is VERY effective at making you shit your pants :). I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend it.

i may have liked the movie if i hadn't read the book. i remember the book had a whole other ending part with a biker in a cave and maybe it gave him powers or something?

it's been awhile but i remember the movie that played in my head while i read the book was way better than the ben affleck version.
