Ray Bradbury theater

This one's been out since Fall of '04 in a couple of single discs, and also a complete boxset with 5 DVD's.

I've seen the BRADBURY's.It's great to have them all in a set and it can be had at a pretty low price BUT the bit rate is low and some of the visuals suffer, especially in dark scenes where it can get very blocky.Your call.

I haven't got around to watching my Ray Bradbury set yet, but...having all 65 episodes of the series...for only 25 bucks or so...I don't think anybody should be complaining about picture quality. It's a heckuva deal. :)

I don't think the picture quality is too bad on the Ray Bradbury set. Yes, the bit rate is a little low at times since they're fitting 5+ hours onto a disc...but unless you're very close to your set specifically watching for compression artifacts, it's not that big of a deal. It's a great value for the set nonetheless.

I saw where Munsters season 2 was confirmed for a 2005 release but nothing further than that (although they hinted at a fall/halloween release date).
No word on any extras or bonus materials yet.

Yo. www.amazon.com and www.deepdiscountdvd.com have it. I bought mine at DDD for a cool $28, including shipping to Europe. Haven't gotten it yet though. :(

There's a link around here somewhere that asks which extras the fans would like to see on the next set.

DDD is out of stock currently, and it's odd since they don't really carry other Platinum titles. Amazon can only "Special order" it which makes you wonder.

Tower Records has it in stock right now...

What a jip. Could also try www.spun.com, they seem to have it in stock and for a decent price too.

Hmm, it said Temporarily out of stock when I checked.

Damn, now I'm sure glad I picked up a set at Best Buy when I first saw it out last year!

You'll probably see the title at more places later this year...that's the way Platinum DVD titles usually are. You see them first at a Best Buy or Wal-Mart before any release date...then 6 to 12 months later everyone has them.

I just ordered a copy of Ray Bradbury Theater 5 DVD set from CD Universe ( Thanks to Katatonia's help ), they had one left in stock and the next morning when i ordered the set it was sold. So it's backorderd, i was amazed how fast someone brought that last copy. This set must be really scarce, well i am just happy that i ordered it before it goes on moratorium.
