Synapse has a number of new DVDs hitting the market in the near future, which one is your most anticipated?

LUCKER!!!!!! and if Synapse needs any help I have an Uncut VHS Master that was given to me directly from Johan Vandewoestijne. Just in case it might be needed.. Lucker is definetly going to be sweet. Next I would say The Nailgun Massacre, then Street Trash (Although I couldnt wait any longer and had to purchase the French DVD)

Asian Cult Cinema: Extreme Horror Collection

^ what is included in this? I seriously hope Jang Chien Jieh's "The Devil" will be a part of it.

Street Trash. I've waited this long already.

Rock 'n' Roll Nightmare would definitely be first on my list.

And then Street Trash.

Then probably Nail Gun Massacre, since I luckily put off buying that "expensive" DVD of it.

Definitely Street Trash. I would normally be excited about Document of the Dead, but since I have it in the Dawn boxed set, I don't need it anymore. Not excited about anything else on the list, unfortunately.

Asian Cult Cinema: Extreme Horror Collection for me. I don't think I've ever seen Street Trash, so have no idea. Nail-Gun Massacre, since I guess the price will be more reasonable, is second.

Street Trash, although I may be interested in Asian Cult Cinema: Extreme Horror Collection, if I had a clue what was on it.

Nail Gun Massacre for me.
I love this flick ... plus I'm eager to watch this trashy masterpiece in anamorphic widescreen :)

The Asian collection, although I have no idea what's in it. I already have Street Trash, Lucker, and Long Weekend, and while I'm sure I'd buy them again with better transfers (Lucker for the first time since I only have a VHS...and unwatched too! :P), I'm going for something I haven't seen...but hell, maybe I have because I don't know what the hell's included :p

I'm interested in Coming Distractions. I haven't seen any of the real movies Synapse is planning to release, or know anything about them.

Long Weekend most definitely. An outstanding, yet extremely rare nature-run-amok gem. I've been waiting for its release for a long, long time.

I somehow ended up with Evil Dead Trap 2, but not one. Then I was lazy about ordering it - so this is a dream come true. Same with Organ - I cannot explain it - but I'll fix it when this set comes.

Wow. I didn't know that STREET TRASH had such a following. Last time I saw it available on video was the last time I rented it...around '88 sometime. I haven't been this excited about a release since I heard that George Lucas was releasing both original and Special Edition cuts of the Star Wars trilogy in the box set a la E.T.

Then I found out it wasn't true. :(

Woe be to Synapse if this release gets shelved or scrapped altogether.....woe.....

Nail Gun Massacre, for I believe the the one currently out is a crappy pan and scan, and also is barebone, so this new version is the way to go.

Is the Nail gun Massacare going to be the same as the current DVD release?

I recall a lot of debate around it, and someone got ripped off for postage?

Rock n' Roll Nightmare is tops, followed by Lucker and Olga's Girls (shouldn't just dismiss that as "Other")

Lucio Romero

Hey Everyone,

Damn shame we only got one choice because I'm really looking forward to both Document and Street Trash. I know it's an extreme long shot but with the slight possibility that there will be more behind the scenes stuff from Dawn :D and maybe Two Evil Eyes, I had to go with Document.

Grease Guy : Four pounds of grease...that comes to 63 cents.
Homer : Woo Hoo.
Bart : Dad, all that bacon cost 27 dollars.
Homer : Yeah, but your mom payed for that.
Bart : But doesn't she get her money from you.
Homer : And I get my money from grease, what's the problem.

In addition to Lucker, I'm looking forward to:
ASIAN CULT CINEMA: EXTREME HORROR COLLECTON

Just curious, is anyone familier with:
EFFECTS (1978)
The real “lost” horror film starring Joe Pilato and Tom Savini. From Director Dusty Nelson and Produced by John Harrison (Frank Herbert’s DUNE, TALES FROM THE DARKSIDE and Hallmark Entertainment’s Upcoming SUPERNOVA Mini-Series) Re-Mastered in HD from Original Vault Materials.
I'd like to know more about it.

Well, I'm one of those IDIOTS who bought that overpriced director's release of Nailgun Massacre, and yes, I am pissed.

Understandable. After all, they were advertising that it was the end all DVD release for the film. I'm glad I kept putting off buying it though, another couple of weeks and I might have. Quick though...sell yours on ebay before everyone finds out!
