I have a possible order geared up and ready for submittion over at Diabolik DVD. The prices are high for some titles and bareable for others. Has anyone seen better prices for these movie versions anywhere else for cheaper and should I hold up on ordering any particular one for a better release?

$19.99 - Ginger Snaps SE (Canadian NTSC / Region 1)
$17.99 - Existenz - Special Edition (Canadian NTSC Region 1)
$31.99 - Brotherhood of the Wolf - 3 Disc Set (Canadian NTSC Region 1)
$24.99 - Black Christmas - Special Edition (Canadian NTSC Region 1)
$94.96 = Total purchase

*I am only R1 / R0 NTSC.

you can probably get them cheaper at Amazon.ca

That may be true but then you have customs and what not adding cost to the package.

It is true that DiabolikDVD are on the high side with some of their prices, but their service is excellent. Always quick shipping, never a problem with an item not being in-stock.

I was going to order my Pete Walker Collection from them but I wanted a title that only Xpolited had so I ended up ordering from Tony.

I may be wrong here but I thought the Brotherhood of the Wolf was getting a US SE re-release?

It looks like the Diabolik site (http://www.diabolikdvd.com/) has just had a new design overhaul, with accurate stock status now listed for each item.

Just look at a DVD price search engine like www.dvdpricesearch.com That's what I always do to get the best price. Either that or Ebay. DVDsoon usually has the best Canadian prices. Although they sometimes take forever to ship.

Yeah good call I just placed my first order with them. First thing I noticed was that they use stamps.com to ship. I really hate and despise stamps.com with a passion. They are a shit service and it screams lazy to me when sellers use them. The post office doesn't verify the packages. Instead they just pick up the merchandise. From there they drop it off at some shipping center where the package is verified. It can be a long process till they ship your item out. Well here is day 6 and no package insight and no update. I'll probably buy from them again but it won't be any time soon. Hopefully my package arrives soon.

Same here. I use Xploited almost exclusively for imports.

I think I'm gonna wait until the re-release of Deranged / Motel Hell. I just can't see paying $20+ for it there.
