Not as campy as the title may suggests :D

Well made little thriller with a touch of sci-fi that reminded me of the Stepford Wives for some reason. I watched this for the first time the other day, under the title Graveyard Tramps released by some no-name cheapo DVD company.

Transfer is full screen and has VHS quality but it's still watchable. Of course the MGM DVD (double feature including Invasion Of The Star Creatures) is anamorphic widescreen (1.85:1) but I had no such luck tracking it down yet.

Anyhoo, just wondering if I'm the only one who enjoyed this sexy flick starring Anitra Ford (Messiah Of Evil) as the Queen Bee? :)

Never heard of it but I know that from the packaging shown, the company that put out the Graveyard Tramps version also released one of the many DVD releases of Pieces.

This was running rather repeatedly on late-night satellite channels about six months ago. The "town hall" sequences were shot inside an old movie theatre that had become an American Legion Hall out by Magic Mountain in southern California. I think Rene Bond's in it, too.

Story wise, mayhaps - but I was surprised at how straight and serious the actors were playing, giving the subject matter. No campy overacting or hamming it up :)

I remember those glasses, I even have a pair that look like them (which I wear when feeling pissed off or am overly hungover)...I also remember that little "lalalalalalalala" sound that played in the background.

I think I tried watching that movie a few years back. I didn't like it very much
