Looks like CAMPFIRE TALES will finally see DVD this year!!!!

I already have THE HIDDEN and don't know anything about the sequel. Is it any good? Worth a double dip?

More Victor Salva? Eewww. :nervous: Well, Maybe.

"The Hidden" double seems to be the only title worth interest in this offer, particularly with that announced price...

And it's... interesting... to see "Bad Company", Vic Salva's (http://www.meganslaw.ca.gov/cgi/prosoma.dll?zoomAction=Box&lastName=salva&firstName=victor&Address=&City=&zipcode=&searchDistance=.75&City2=&countyLocation=&zipcode2=&SelectCounty=&ParkName=&searchDistance2=.75&City3=&zipcode3=&countyLocation3=&schoolName=&searchDistance3=.75&City4=&zipcode4=&countyLocation4=&pan=&distacross=107211&centerlat=38409907&centerlon=-121514242&starlat=&starlon=&startext=&x1=&y1=&x2=&y2=&mapwidth=525&mapheight=400&zoom=&searchBy=namelist&id=&docountycitylist=2&OFDTYPE=) only film that does not feature naked prepubescent boys, finally crawl out from the vault... Hopefully this will not include that fashionable DVD "extra feature" often pushed into various releases for no reason - "Director's home movies"... http://forums.myg0t.com/images3/smilies/puke.gif

I remember renting Beast under the title, "Hatchet Man". It was a great movie, I must say it looks like I'll be picking all of these up.

That was the '91 CAMPFIRE TALES with Gunnar Hansen. This is the anthology from '97. It has some true chills that most modern "scary" movies never achieve.

Yes! I LOVE Nature of the Beast, and I've been wanting New Line to put it out on DVD for years. I will definitely be picking this up on the day of release. Thanks a lot for the news, you made my day.

I liked CAMPFIRE,I'd pick it up at a nice price. Are all the special features on THE HIDDEN carried over from the old dvd ? I've never made it through all of HIDDEN 2,I just couldn't make myself watch it.

I love Campfire Tales, it's like Urban Legend without the college setting or serial killer. Plus the late Glenn Quinn is in it, still hard to believe he's dead. I'll be picking up the DVD.

I just found out about this. I am pretty happy I did not buy that fullscreen import I have been eyeing on ebay. This is going to totally rule!

I found the DVD out early at Best Buy last night. It looks like a pretty good release, complete with a DTS track, along with Dolby 5.1 and Dolby 2.0. The anamorphic print looks really nice and sharp. No real special features to mention, except various trailers.
